During my senior year at Sam Houston State University, I was given the opportunity to work with the department of art as a student designer/intern. Below I've compiled a number of projects I worked on during my time there.
The biggest project, by far, was working with the department to update their presence on the university website. There were a few limitations given the university template, but other than that there was plenty of freedom in making the site "pop" to present and incoming students and staff.
I was given some photography to use in the headers for each page/department, the tag lines for the program itself as well as each of the main degrees, and the department branding information. I worked from the logo to bring some color and brightness to the website.
A bi-fold calendar/mailer made over the summer ahead of the then coming academic year. It displayed all of the upcoming shows and events at the main gallery on campus.
A pin for the College of Fine Arts & Mass Communication to be sold for charity.
Below are some of the brochures and fliers I helped create for various shows and events on campus.
Above: a "save the date" postcard reminding recipients of the big department of art gala to support the department and recognize outstanding members of the alumni and student body.

The department of art was called upon yearly to help downtown Huntsville put together a fun game for the whole community called "Wine Down, Shop Small" in support of small businesses. Bingo cards, maps, and raffles that pointed to various shops in the area that also hosted local restaurants and wineries helped bring Huntsville together on a lively afternoon filled with shopping, tasting, and community fun.
