A poster inspired by the well-received Blade Runner sequel, Blade Runner 2049. At the time of making this poster, I hadn't seen the film. After some colorful conversation with a friend in regards to some of his favorite still frames in the film, I found myself too inspired by what I was seeing both in screenshots and my head not to experiment.
The process for this poster was relatively simple. After illustrating a basic scene (seen below) in a two-color palette in Illustrator, the image seemed to fall flat. It was an acceptable design, but it didn't feel complete. Taking the image into Photoshop for further experimentation took it to a whole new level. With some posterization and color alteration, the design became something necessarily vibrant and eye-catching.
